GIANTS @ BENGALS--YOUR THOUGHTS PLEASE
CAN CINCINNATI FINALLY GET BACK ON TRACK, OR IS IT RIGHT BACK TO POOR FOOTBALL WEEK AFTER WEEK.
I THINK MARV LEWIS HAS TO GO AFTER THIS SEASON.
HE'S HAD WAY TOO MUCH TIME TO TURN THIS AROUND.
AND WHY CAN'T THE BENGALS HOLD A LEAD.

Re: GIANTS @ BENGALS--YOUR THOUGHTS PLEASE
I agree Marv must go,but knowing Mike Brown I wouldn't get my hopes up.Eli had a bad game last week so this would be the perfect time for him to get back on track.Probably more of the same coming.

Re: GIANTS @ BENGALS--YOUR THOUGHTS PLEASE
just read on the bengals website that the game is blacked out locally because it was not a sellout, would this still poertain to you if you have nfl gameday
Re: GIANTS @ BENGALS--YOUR THOUGHTS PLEASE
Not sure ,but I think its just the local TV that gets blacked out in the Cincinnatti area,in my area its supposed to be on fox out of Columbus
Re: GIANTS @ BENGALS--YOUR THOUGHTS PLEASE
I disagree about Marvin. He's done his job and handled the transitions well.
The GM is the one who needs fired. Then again, you cannot fire the owner.
You really want Mike Brown making another coaching decision?
Mike Shula, Dick Jauron, Bruce Coslett, Dick LeBeau. Maybe Rich Kotite or Eric Mangini is available. Yuck!

BDUBYA, HOW MUCH MORE CAN WE TAKE.
''THIS HAIN'T CLEVELAND''
I'M DONE WITH MARVIN, AND THE FANS NEED TO FORCE MIKE BROWN'S HAND. TO GET A WINNING COACH. MARV IS A GREAT GUY. BUT NOT A CHAMPIONSHIP HEAD COACH.IF IT MEANS QUIT BUYING TICKETS OR WHATEVER.

YTB,
You're right. This ain't Cleveland, where we love replacing coaches every 2 or 3 years - which is a huge mistake.
Different philosophies mean different personnel.
From where I sit, Lewis has made the playoffs twice and won the division in the last few years. The roster has been revamped with a lot of young players, and they are still competitive on a weekly basis. Lewis has little say in personnel, yet he finds a way to work with what he has. Was the law firm Lewis' choice or MB's choice?
A new coach will have these same problems, plus the new guy may not want to emphasize Dalton, AJ and Gresham. How does that make Cincy any better?
Bottom line is this. As long as MB is calling the personnel shots - Jesus himself couldn't win as head coach in Cincy.

Looks like the weather is going to be great and I've never seen Eli and the Giants in person. Looking forward to crossing them off my list. Now if we can just get a win, it sure makes that car ride home a lot better! Lol who Dey?

A bad week to face the Giants IMO. At some point the Giants will gel and be a SB contender...Bengals are hoping for another crappy week.

Re: GIANTS @ BENGALS--YOUR THOUGHTS PLEASE
The Bengals controlled the game. The Giants were never in it. The Bengals defense played well.
I think the storm Sandy and all that it has done has effected the Giants more than they will admit to. When your defense is called out by your coach and you still come out and play bad. Eli shows he is not an ELITE QB as people want to think he is. He plays a lot better with the game on the line but not at a high level most of the time.
Hopefully this was a combination of the Bengals playing well and the Giants not. The Bengals need to play that way the rest of the year.

i don't know ace, but if that bengal team shows up the rest of the year, i like our chances of getting into the playoffs.
