8-2 is nothing to be ashamed of for Minford as they only start 4 seniors. Lots of Juniors and especially sophomores out there. I have a feeling they arent done........

Its funny that the Gold Football came down to 2 teams that most people had written off this summer.

It was a very good defensive struggle. This one will hurt for Minford, but it will make these young kids stronger.
Absolutely....Minford can make a run at the Reg 15 title...IMO.

They can play with anyone if they take care of the ball and make plays when they are there. Their defense will keep them in games but the offense needs to get the ball in the end zone.

Cody Stapleton played a really good game tonight. He hasnt ran the ball that much all year but it seemed like he started putting the game on his shoulders in the second half. He ran the ball well and threw several really good balls.

Howard and Arnett are two big backs for Valley and they are hard to stop. Especially Arnett when he gets a full head of steam when hitting the hole.

Good luck! I am sure all SOC II fans will be behind our teams. SOC II teams have a great shot at winning Region 19 this year. Lets make it happen!

A lot of things you need to look at on the tape.....Was Valley stoped on their scoring drive short of the gold line, How did Cody Stapelton knock over the endzone pileon and not score?

I am not going to say anything, it should have never came down to a call by the refs.
EXCEPT this...Valley fans were still complaining this year about their last loss to us two years ago.
You can give us at least one night to complain back. Hopefully then we will move on and
worry about the playoffs. Good luck to the Indians.

The pylon is out of bounds on the goal line extended. It would be easy to believe that a player stepped out of bounds then knocked over the pylon.

I dont think Cody got in, but he was definitely inside the one yard line. Probably the one foot line. Very questionable spot. Its all for nothing as Minford still had a chance to pop it in from the 2 yard line. It was a big hole and easy TD, but the turnover killed it.

Move on. Get behind each team and hope for SOC II wins next week. Cant do anything about the game tonight, its over.

Its either going to be Minford traveling to Indian valley (gosh I hope not) or Minford hosting Indian Valley or Piketon at home. Would much rather play at home!

I wish Joe Eitel would update Piketon, Wellston, Oak Hill and Waverly's second level points so we can find out. The suspense is killing me!

I guess there is an outside chance that Piketon could host Minford or Indian Valley also????

Before the dust started to settle tonight, I believed with absolute certainty that Minford would be playing Piketon one place or the other. I hope the Falcons get the Streaks at Minford. Regardless, I plan on being wherever they play, since they will be playing on Friday night and Valley will be on Saturday night. I hope I get to continue to watch both teams play for multiple weeks.

I am almost positive it will be Grove. I left the stadium sure it would be NY, but everything Grove needed happened.

I dont see East Knox beating danville..so I'd say Grove also....if East Knox upsets danville...HEARTBREAK for Grove.

At this point, I think the only thing that would change it would be if East Knox pulls a huge upset tomorrow night against Danville. With that not being very likely, it looks like it will be Coal Grove at Valley next week.

Yeah I dont see Hillsdale losing to Chippewa to open up another spot. BUT.....Danville is D6 so I guess it wouldnt be too big of an upset for East Knox to win.

That is...East Knox wins = Lucasville. They lose = Coal Grove
