While all this intrigue is going on, is anyone overseeing offseason weight training?

Haven't heard anything. But i hope they are hitting the iron hard. If not they should be.
Re: Logan Football 2013
If these kids are dedicated to winning they should be in there on there own without no help, they know what to do.Still early, needs to pick by the first of the year though. And remember a lot these kids might be concentrating on other sports now.

Re: Logan Football 2013
Yep, you got a good point there too, but the kids that's just in football get them in the weight room and hit it hard with a monitor a few times a week. imo.

Re: Logan Football 2013
Job's been posted on the OHSAA website for quite some time. I think applicants have to respond by Dec. 21. My guess is by the end of Jan. we'll have a new FB coach, but that's purely speculation on my part.moonshine wrote:

I think that will be a good timeline, if it continues on into spring condition will suffer!LoganLocos wrote:Job's been posted on the OHSAA website for quite some time. Its interesting that they posted North and not south. I've not seen it down this, but I could be blind. You would think they could find someone down here who would be interested, not just looking up by Columbus. There are some coaches down here who could be interested if they felt it was the right opportunity.

I hope for the kids sake there is someone in before spring sports start. The longer it takes, the less number of new kids will be interested in the sports. Give the coach time to recruit the halls and find some of the athletes that did not play the last couple years. There are always some of those whenever there is a new coach.

Talked to him yesterday and I ask him what are some of the questions he has been asked when interviwing for a new job. The following are some of the more interesting questions that he was ask!
1. Why do you want to coach here?
2. What is your football philosophy?
3.Can you explain in detail what your typical Tuesday practice will be like?
4. What steps will you take to improve the overall grades of your players?
5. Tell us about your discipline policy?
6. What are your two most prominent mistakes you have made during your coaching career?
7. What is your off season conditioning program like?
8. How will you handle an irate parent questioning a players playing time?
9. How do you define success for the youth, Jr. high, freshman, Junior Varsity and Varsity programs?
10. How will you incresse particpation in the program?
Of course there are many more and different types of possible questions which could be ask, again these are just a few!

Read where a former Logan city councilman pleaded with the board to extend Wolfe's contract another year,he didn't think it was fair Wolfe won't get a chance at the upcoming freshman talent, then if they don't go at least 5-5 to look for somebody else. They might have to do that if nobody beats the deadline, but I would hope they did better than 5-5 with all the players returning and if I was Wolfe not sure I would even want to come back and face all the belly aching parents.

Will Logan get the credit for the game against Portsmouth in 2011 if this thing about Portsmouth is true?

You have to understand who this guy is! I have been in contact with the school board and Supt concerning the Supt decison. We have a leader of our schools who is doing an outstanding job and this would be a slap in his face! Let's move on an forget the last 3 years.
