I stand corrected, today I saw an article football camp will be July 22-25,this year it was later than usual being announced probably because of the transition to the new coach.Go get em coach Burke! One thing odd about the article though it just mentions grades 3-8 nothing about 9-12

Awaiting with excitement and anticipation for Paladin's in depth scouting report of our Chiefs. This should be a unreal!

Bummer.... got railroaded into too many family meets in Logan and Lancaster, so info on Chiefs was limited. Most dominant thoughts from folks were Logan ran into too many bad parents and kids who thought they were much better than they actually were. Add in a staff which didn't put in the hours needed for FB ( film study, scouting, practice time,etc) and finally still too many athletes sitting out at Logan. The current thoughts are it depends on who comes out this year, how much time they spend working on getting better and suck up the program with tougher discipline for the troublemakers. New coach seems popular and liked but the jury is out on him. Also, will he use an O & D that makes use of Logan athletes and their abilities. Most have lots of questions and are eagerly awaiting the season. The consensus is they'll be better. How much better ? Probably 5-5 and might do better than that and really surprise. One old-timer thinks the coach may make examples of some people and bench them in favor of playing much younger players -- makes for a losing season but may make the overall program better over the long haul by making a statement. We'll see.

From what i hear it is a small talented senior bunch.............large but few talented jr class and.............Talented soph class but broken up.
