I'm not really sure what to expect from the pirates this year?! I think the improvements to the schedule is a positive! Not really sure this years team is going to be as strong as the last few years. Only time will tell though. Looking forward to august!

Eh, maybe but even so assuming they lost a lot playing 2 D3 schools in Week 4 and 5 that both historically play good defense and like to run an offense that is physical shouldn't be underestimated.

Ironton, Heath, Watterson and Jackson is pretty strong opening for first half of the season.

I think Wheelersburg has the done a very good thing in scheduling tougher opponents outside of the SOC. Wheelersburg doesn't get a lot of competition in the SOC. Sure you will have another team have a great year and beat them for the title or get close like Waverly did last year, however, Wheelersburg doesn't get playoff competition at the end of the year to get ready for what's to come.
