Several bad decisions down the stretch did Jackson in. Maybe schedule, maybe skills, maybe Athens, not the refs did Jackson in

Congrats to the Ironladies on an outstanding season. Tournament time is a tough thing. One minute you're fighting to help your team advance, and the very next minute, it's all over. 23-2, Co-SEOAL champs, and District Runner-Up is something to be very proud of though. Learn from this season, work hard to get better, and come back stronger next year.

Sad to see seniors Kari Jenkins and Jackie Cyrus play their final game tonight. Good luck to them both in the future.

I think the bald ref put the Belpre boys at a disadvantage against Zane Trace at Athens this past Saturday also.

11 points and 10 rebounds....6/6 from the line

Great 4 years!
Yes, and her shooting that night at Eastern was lights out, a good memory for her. Jackson wasn't as sharp later in the season as they were at Eastern. I've heard it said a team only plays their best for less than 10% of their games, and Jackson's seemed to be earlier in the season. Of course opponents also concentrate on figuring out stuff to stop their best opponents.

Thanks for posting that, 92. I was wondering when it would be released.

Congrats to Coach Walburn. A well-deserved honor. Looking forward to seeing him lead the Ironladies again next season.

Congrats to Madison Ridout on POY honors. I believe this is her third consecutive season on the All-SEOAL team, and she shared POY honors last year as a sophomore as well.

Good to see Lydia Poe and Kari Jenkins also on the 1st Team. Obviously Lydia will be back next season, but a well-deserved culmination to Kari's basketball career at JHS. She was an outstanding leader, teammate, and player this season and she should be proud of the four seasons she contributed to the girls basketball program. Looking forward to following her during her softball career at OU.

Great season from Whitney Wills also for her Honorable Mention selection.

The Ironladies will certainly miss Kari next season, but they have a great group of players returning. Would be amazing if Heather Chapman somehow makes her way back to Jackson for her senior season, but that may be wishful thinking on my part. It's hard to imagine how good this year's team would've been if her family was still in Jackson.

Congrats indeed!

I thought that Whitney Wills being the 3rd leading scorer in the regular season with 8 games of 9+ points, 2 times at 15+ and even a 22 point game against Logan.

Walburn should've been one of the COY IMO.

Madison Ridout and Lydia Poe were also All-Ohio Honorable Mention in Division II.

Congrats to all the Ironladies who received awards for an outstanding season, and to Coach Walburn as well.

Jackson should have a good team again next year. Not much competition in the league for them.
