You say fastest team in TVC, like everyone else will be operating in slow motion compared to NY. I don't know about that, maybe so, but just think VC, Athens, RV and Wellston will be plenty fast as well.
A good DC and a couple weeks of film can do wonders for game planning. That is all I am saying.
i think that most are referring to the caliber of players they lost not the quantity. How did they fair without those that were injured?tvc_fan wrote: Fri Aug 11, 2017 5:23 pm People thinking Meigs lost a lot last year due to graduation...We only lot 3 starters, the rest were down the biggest part of the year due to injuries. We will surprise people this year. A complete off season for Helton at QB, Receiver such as Carruthers, Mattox, Bartrum, Baer, Running game is up in the air and will see Cullums carrying the load. Defensively we will have solid DB's and also some size up front.
We have more skilled players this season then we have had in the past. I am glad everyone is overlooking us...I look for some surprises this year.
They didn't fair too well without those players, but look at the caliper of the players from the other teams we faced that was Seniors and no longer on the other teams. Watch and see, if no injuries, this is the best Meigs team since Bartrum has taken over.Stone Cold wrote: Mon Aug 14, 2017 9:16 ami think that most are referring to the caliber of players they lost not the quantity.
