IMO, this is not a good trade. Why would the Cavs wanna face Kyrie in the playoffs?
I am afraid that he will make them pay.

I don't like that Kyrie wanted a trade, but I do understand it. The Cavs got a good amount for him though, the Celtics best player in Thomas who is also an all-star. They also get a defensive stud in Crowder.

Kyrie will in a no way make them pay! He wanted to be the (man) Have fun with that. This was a good trade for cleveland prbably the best they could get. Time will tell when we see what happens with brooklyns pick

Good to get Irving out of Cleveland ! He would have been toxic to the team! Not sure I like him going to their Eastern rival but still better than sticking around making things uncomfortable.

Great trade for both sides. Neither scorer in the deal plays a lick of defense and Kylie wanted out.

I'm shocked that the Cavs were able to get that Nets pick, which I think is the key part of the trade to me. You have to plan for the future if Lebron leaves after this year and that pick should be in the top 5, if not top 3, which will be a big key.
