I'm not sure if the bolded is actually true. There are many schools in Pickaway, Ross, Fairfield, and Perry Counties that would not only be good competition for Logan, but also willing. The nightmare part will probably tie into having to play schools on a Saturday right after said schools do their league games on a Friday. However, I'm entirely sure this is in fact possible to do, just probably means an extra 10 hours in the office for the A.D.Logan grad wrote:Im way late to this party, but Logan has in fact sent letters to the OCC, the MSL and a few other leagues in the early stages of trying to find out an interest. But most leagues are not expanding. It could be a nightmare trying to schedule 22 basketball games, softball and baseball games if the other remaining SEOAL teams find new homes. But regarding the post above^^^^^ Logan isnt ducking the OCC theyve in fact seeked them out for a possible spot.

Re: 2015 Logan @ Athens
Who would have ever imagined that a Logan and Athens Week 1 SEOP's Thread for 2015 High School football would turn into a:

Old SEOAL versus the New TVC. Can the purple slow down the "run n shoot" high powered offense of the green and gold? Is the Athens defense prepared for a physical Logan offense that sprinkles in some pass every now and then? First games are always a treat, no film to speak of unless it is bits and pieces of a jamboree game or scrimmage which really doesn't give you much to go on, so what coaching staff will have his team ready?

(MOON) Except for my Chiefs, They will beat the yellow and green like a red headed stepchild! The bullpuppies will go 8-2 and miss the playoff due to strength of schedule!

And 9-1 zanesville had less points than 9-1 Athens that year. 8th seed Marion Franklin won that region that Logan was in. That region looks like the same region Athens beat like a red headed stepchildLHS 72 wrote:(MOON) Except for my Chiefs, They will beat the yellow and green like a red headed stepchild! Athens(14-1) had more wins than Gallia(4-6), Warren(1-9), Portsmouth(3-7), and Logan(5-5)combined.

I sure would like to have Amyx step in there this summer and be defensive coordinator for a month.doubleplay643 wrote:Who would have ever imagined that a Logan and Athens Week 1 SEOP's Thread for 2015 High School football would turn into a:

Re: 2015 Logan @ Athens
Amyx was ask that question many times, he was ready to hang it up to spend more time with his family. Logan will be fine Mr. Raider, had a few years of trouble and slowly climbing out of it. I was just joking around about Amyx coming back for a month, but he was a great head coach and was one hell of a defensive guy. That was his cup of tea.RAIDER6309 wrote:Amyx was smart like Athens, knew when to job off that sinking ship(seoal and Logan)Trenchfoot wrote: I sure would like to have Amyx step in there this summer and be defensive coordinator for a month.![]()

Amyx was a heck of a coach. Had a really good system from top to bottom for years. A coaching legend for SEO. I'm from Athens noreply66. Just one of those crazy few that like the Oakland Raiders

(moon) any changes on the defensive staff, Burke needs to evaluate his positions and coordinator spots! Our offence will be fine as long as we keep away from the injury bug, like what hit us late in 2014. We will be able to score with the best but can we stop anyone this year or just outscore them?

Lots of missed tackles that should have been made imo. He needs to clean that up quite a bit.LHS 72 wrote:(moon) any changes on the defensive staff, Burke needs to evaluate his positions and coordinator spots!
