Re: Week 10: (8-1) Raceland KY @ (6-2) Ironton
westfan it doesn't have anything to do with it. it's obviously an ironton/raceland thread. but with it being week ten. the game at hand has been dicussed as well as playoffs. and the reality, that ironton and Portsmouth will be in a completely different landscape in 2015. heck I don't care as long as we're talking football.
I certainly have not intended to take away from Fridays game.it should be a good one. I look for a peed off fighting tiger team though to stick this down the rams neck. I really do. and ironton has more on the line here.

And for the record I'm not dogging Ironton. I'm just agreeing with others that it's a bad move for all involved. Other schools scheduled 2 more losses when they can't afford them and Ironton will struggle to make the playoffs as a D5 school in that league without almost going undefeated in the non conference. That's the same boat West is in now with 2 losses, because several of the wins were against OVC teams that produce no points. Now if Ironton drops to a D6 they will be fine. Valley is sitting 3rd in Region 21. They would be hanging on in 8th if they were a D5 school. That's how big the difference is.

HA HA HA HA peed on the fire HA HA HA.You're Tiger Bait wrote:shine shame on you. here we are on the eve of the raceland/ironton game and you pee pee on the fire. way to redirect though. I feel the fighting tigers flex their muscles here at home on senior night and take the rams to the ole proverbial woodshed. if we have troubles it will be via the passing game me thinks.
Maybe shine was wanting a weenie roast HA HA HA HJA

LOOKS LIKE I'LL BE TAKIN THIS ONE IN VIA WIRO AGAIN.
been a rough year to be bait. my right knee needs replaced so i'll have a matchin set of steel knees, and it's bone on bone. went to see my dr. about 5 months ago he said not till I lose 40 pounds, I've lost half that. so I'm really struggling momentum wise on a bad wheel. my trucks been broken down for over a month. and the mrs. has had to work on Fridays, so with my eye situation I don't normally take trips that far without another driver with me. I have officially saw 2 games this year. wheelersburg and Jackson-------both were losses . so fighting tiger fans likely don't want to see me anyway.i've not got to even see the new turf yet. so I'm excited to get to see that when it happens. anyway it's been an exciting year of fighting tiger football.and so glad they are getting back to winning and the playoffs.i hope everybody has a safe trip, and an injury free game. and ole bait will be rootin for ya'll.
GO TIGERS GO.

Ironton is missing blocks their head is not in the game.
Raceland is good I know but Ironton is just not playing their game.
Second half I think will be different Ironton will wake up and when it is 4th and 14 they won't give up a 16 yard pass.
Go Tigers Let's Roar and show who you are.

great win Tigers I do believe weather hurt both teams with the bad snaps.
But you showed grit and promise.
Take care of penalties and you can dominate with precision.

Re: Week 10: (8-1) Raceland KY @ (6-2) Ironton
irontons coaching staff needs too get a handle on the personal fouls, they need to control them selves or they will be playing basketball after next week. second half they looked like an ironton football team, played super defense and pretty good all fence this is a good team when they really want too play. they just need too keep it all together.
Re: Week 10: (8-1) Raceland KY @ (6-2) Ironton
I agree I think the first was questionable second was lack of control.
Ironton is a good team but a giving up free yards on a great play means disaster period.

Re: Week 10: (8-1) Raceland KY @ (6-2) Ironton
darn penalties. And in week 10. The Tigers will be one and done if they do not get their heads on straight. Why they are not playing like a legitimate playoff team by now is beyond me. Bad habits portend more bad habits. Not a good way to enter the post-season.

martins ferry finished 9-1, only loss to st. clairsville 10-0---------------but ferry only beat 2 programs that finished with winning records. the tigers should easily be the favorites at home.

7 out of 9 of ironton's opponents finished with winning records. only 2 w/losing records were Portsmouth and Columbus saint Charles.
