Maybe Jackson will let the JV team play to at least keep the game safe for my TROJANS

Hoping for an injury free game, another Jackson win, and a great homecoming for Portsmouth. I'd love to be there to visit with my Portsmouth friends, but since our band won't be going, I'll have to miss it. I will listen however on the radio. GO RED !!!

Jackson fans are crazy if they think portsmouth can't make this a very scary evening for Big Red. They have speed like we haven't seen. Almost beat a good valley and Portsmouth west team. Forget about getting healthy, better show the men of Troy some respect !!

Wanting to stay healthy or get some kids healed up after last week doesn't mean anyone is or will take this game lightly. I think everyone learned that lesson after the Warren game. If not we should have.

You gotta prepare and play every week and most anything can happen. It'll be difficult to fully motivate the kids to not somewhat look past Portsmouth. If Sky was playing I'd be a smidge worried but the Ironmen are going to win this week.

I'm not going to sit here and predict 60-0 or some crazy score like that. However, if you are simply saying Portsmouth can play with Jackson because of their speed haven't seen Jackson play yet. These aren't the same big slow defensive linemen you typically see. These kids are extremely athletic and disciplined. Portsmouth is still working their way back from obscurity. I could care less what they did against West or Valley as there's so many factors that aren't mentioned other than just saying they almost beat them. Well, Jackson would beat West and Valley both, guessing Portsmouth scores 48 is extremely funny do to the fact that Jackson has only given up 39 points TOTAL this year. Jackson-35 Ports.-14.

Big trap week for Jackson. Portsmouth is not gonna be as tough as Logan and by the way Jackson lost close to a quarter and a half to Logan. Jackson was lucky it was almost 14-0 and in real trouble in first quarter. The competition will only get tougher as each week passes Jackson needs to focus on that getting better at what the do on both sides of the ball. That said Jackson big in this one only question will they look dominate or sloppy ?

We've seen Jackson....I was mocking his sarcastic 48-7 prediction the week before. Portsmouth played Valley and PWest tight in week 1 and 2....with Oliver at QB

Look for the Ironmen to work on looking sharp in backfield with backs and for Leach to have big night against Trojans. We have just gotten little glimpse of his athletic ability and look for more Griffiths in back field. Look for us to go back to more size in backfield Potter, Rafferty, Griffiths and Cooper at wingback like he was against Ready. Gonna need some size for the Tigers and good weather.

Wow... Look people.. Jackson is a darn good football team. Ptown stands no chance in this game... Jackson could leave their first string at home and win this game...

1. Focused week of practice, no looking ahead or listening to the "noise" of the remainder of the season.

2. Crisp, well executed, highly disciplined game on Friday.

Those two ingredients will get us a "W".

No pushing, shoving or silly penalties, just go take of business in a workmanlike manner.
