It is good to see forum/fan interest for a change in both programs.

Has NW ever won 7 games in a season? I think I heard they have had 2 maybe 3 6-4 seasons in their history.

It is nice to see some enthusiasm for NW football for a change! With their schedule, 6-7 wins would be a real possibility. Unfortunately for NW, few of the teams they will beat will have very many wins and they will still be far from the playoffs, but a winning season would be a nice change and maybe help the numbers in the future

I will take the Mohawks in this one 28 to 6. Move to 2-0 on the season. There schedule sets up nicely for them to put together a nice season. They only lose 5 seniors this year and are playing a lot of young players on both offense and defense.

Several mentioned the NW schedule. The powers that be at NW have put together a very good schedule for this team to "grow" into a solid program. I think six or seven wins with an outside chance at eight is a real possibility. Won't be enough points for any kind of play-off appearance, but someone once said "The longest journey begins with the first step". Lets hope this schedule, this season and this group of Mohawks are that "first step".

"We have practiced, we have a plan, now it's game day!"

Northwest still needs to keep the fumbles down. That wedge would be a lot harder to deal with if they would throw in a couple screens. 2 reverses last week( 1 TD) and a long gain was the only 2 plays that went outside. I think a 5 win season is possible maybe 6 but they have to win tonight. So I will say a nail biter 28-27...NW

Most important thing this Mohawk Football Team MUST DO is avoid the "Here We Go Again" syndrome. Put this behind you and get ready for next week!

Congrats to Rock Hill for knocking me out of the SEOPs Survivor game! Build on this and get better each week and you could see yourselves with a decent record at year's end!
