Southeastern Ohio Power Ratings

I will be putting together a track power rating that consist of seven leagues/conferences.....Ohio Valley Conference, South Central Ohio League, Southeastern Ohio League, Southern Hills Athletic Conference, Southern Ohio Conference, Scioto Valley Conference and the Tri-Valley Conference.

Power rating will be in three different areas

1St level points..........strongest events against all teams in the seven Con/Leg

2nd level points.........teams weakest events against stronger teams but stronger against weak teams

3rd level points.........points that can be picked up when meets allow more than two to a event. Also points picked up when weaker teams play each other

This is allowing points for 24 places to a event........Showing the over all depth of a team.


1St level point tell pretty much how a team would finish in a meet that involved all teams

If a team is not listed their power rating would be zero

With this system it is possible for Southeastern with only 4 level one point but a power rating of 36 beat Chillicothe which has 16 level one point but only a power rating of 35. This could be in a invitation where three can receive points in an event.
But using level one points as a regional meet Chillicothe would finish a head of Southeastern.
