Where were you last week after Athens won? You cut and run as you like to put it. Finishing as an Elite Eight team two years in a row is a fantastic accomplishment for Athens.Paladin wrote:Athens D-I athletes must not have played.
Zero Class ... It must feel pretty sweet to finally be right ... I can't tell if you are a broken clock or the little boy who cried wolf!?Paladin wrote:Athens D-I athletes must not have played.

And of course ASVSM even plays a more demanding schedule than Marion Franklin! Also according to the Dispatch M-F will not meet ASVSM until the finals if they continue to win!93Bulldog wrote:So the 318, 322 and 300 pound players for MF got bigger throughout the season? LHS 72?
What did they do, eat the opposing lineman each week? SPEED and SIZE MAKES the DIFFERENT!
Great season 'Dogs!!!
Everyone forgets you lose eventually. Unless you are a state champion, there is always a team bigger, stronger, faster ... MF may understand that as well when they square off against ASVSM. (and it will have nothing to so with MF's schedule either.)
Good luck to the Red Devils the rest of the way - I'll be cheering for Region 9 regardless.
Athens offense just had a bad game. Burrow still had 360 yards passing. Logan 4 playoff wins, Burrow 4 playoff wins. Burrow was still best player on the field. That's idiotic if u don't think thatPaladin wrote:Did M-F have any D-I athletes ? More than all the Athens D-I athletes ? That was a thumping for all the D-I athletes Athens has. M-F appears to have played other teams with few D-I athletes. Don't know how they could have prepared for Athens athletes.
