Glad to see a "Southeastern Ohio" matchup (by terms of south of 70, east of 23) being discussed on here.
The game is actually at Fisher (played at Lancaster Fulton Field) on Saturday.
As an FC(hs) supporter, I would love to say that Fisher can come out of this one on top, but it'll be too close to call.
This is a different Fisher team than the one that started out the year. I think they turned a corner when they played Symmes when they gave Faulkner #3 the reigns at QB because they started to find a utilization with his cannon arm and connecting with his buddy big Jake Stoughton #2 for scores. What did FC in against Symmes was the inability to tackle that big boy (and getting deceived by SV's offense).
Defense has stepped up in league play. Brody Taylor has had three pick sixes in the past three games, the Irish have forced turnovers inside the opponent 10 yard line three different times between the past two games. FCA is what some would consider to be a very blue collar, run at your mouth, team just like Symmes. FCA runs a wing T, and a bunch of hard work. More thoughts later, phone is on 1%

Pulling for Fisher Catholic to get the win. Big fan of theirs this game. What time does the game kick off?

And yes, I can see why you're pulling for them. If Fisher wins my friend has it playing out as South Gallia at #8 if they beat Van and if Fisher beats FCA

It will be interesting to see how well FCA does defending Fisher's potent balanced offense. The offensive line has come up big for the Irish since the Ready game, but FCA has some strength and will fire hard on both sides of the ball. Ben Kerns has rushed for 650+ yards so far in this MSL campaign (four games) and is averaging 8.4 yards a carry this year, and qb Jared Faulkner has developed into a QB that can run when needed. Best WR in the league in big Jake Stoughton. Hoping the D can come up big on a laborious FCA wing-T attack. Special Teams play and field position will play a role.
Prediction: Fisher 46 FCA 34

You can listen live on Lancaster 90.9.
FCA just muffed a punt and Fisher is inside the 5.
