Warren came back on Parkersburg and beat them after being down about 20 at the half

Warren scores 35-14 problem is they have not stopped Logan's offense, only penalties have.Warren needs to get some stops if they want to get back in this

Congrats to Logan on another SEOAL champ! Quite frankly since the league was so weak I'm more impressed with the winning record, nice job coach Burke for taking a bad situation and making it positive, can't wait until next year already with Logan and Jackson battling it out for the championship!

Could not be more proud of a group than I am of the Chieftain seniors who played their final game tonight. This group will be remembered for their perseverance - for helping this program rise up and bring the "swagger" back to Chieftain Nation. Each and every senior played an important role on this team. Guys like Kevin Allwine, Colton Wolfe, and Dennis Smathers may not show up on the stat sheet, but Wolfe has been a star on special teams while Allwine and Smathers have been leaders on the scout team getting the Chiefs ready each week.

This senior group can pretty much be defined by one of the coolest pre-game moments ever: Carrying Nick Maniskas through the "Tunnel L" on senior night. Maniskas has missed pretty much the whole season, first do to a back injury and then he hurt an ankle on the first play against Jackson and has been on crutches since. He was arguably Logan's best defensive player last year and was a key offensive weapon entering the season.

In fact, this team played without two quarterbacks, without two top returning receivers, and Nick Kost; last year's top tackler; didn't play defense after the Lancaster game because he moved to QB. Yet this staff and these seniors are celebrating an SEOAL championship.

I'm in the mood to take Coach Burke's advice. Celebrate wins and stay disappointed losses for 24 hours. Then get back to work.

It's time to celebrate a 26th SEOAL title. There's a lot of reason to be excited about the direction of this program. But let's not go there till we celebrate this season!

Schmeltzer's 6 rushing TDs tie Derek Harden for the most rushing TDs in a game.

Schmeltzer's 7 total TDs (6 rushing, 1 receiving) set a new school mark for most TDs and the 42 points are also a record. Derek Harden and John Cosgrove (twice) had each scored 6 TDs in a game.

His 275 yards tonight (5th best all-time) give him 1,040 for the season, making him the 27th player all-time to rushing for 1,000-plus yards.

His 17 rushing TDs for the season tie for 9th all-time for a single season and he is the first Chieftain to score 20+ TDs (17 rushing, 2 returns, 1 receiving) in one season since Justin Frye scored 22 TDs in 2006 and 2007.
