Ill take Hartley big in this one...

BTW how is Irontons talent pool shaping up for the next few years? If it on par with this years team they really need to consider easing up on playing these powerhouse teams IMHO their schedule is one of the toughest in D-5 almost every year (according to calpreps power ratings system)

Bird...just a question...when did Logan win their last state championship?...for that matter how many times have they made the playoffs...have they ever made it to the second round? If so have they made it to the third?Ironton didn't expect to start the season strong...and they still have a shot at the playoffs. And if they make it...I'm sure there won't be many wishing they drew Ironton. These kids don't have quit in them!

You are welcome to say the same because it is the truth! Bait, there are mismatches in every sport and these are two of them this year!

Tigers lose big tonight, but its all part if the plan so when they face Hartley in the playoffs Hartley is overconfident and we beat them by 21. Or we can just beat them by 6 tonight. Either way we will get a win over them.

Ironton continues to turn the corner and show improvement and works on getting healthy for the final push.
Tigers may lose but is in the game till end of 3rd quarter as depth takes a toll.

I agree a better game could be shown on Time Warner but maybe this one was picked out in advance but I do think it will be game till the 3rd quarter I also expect Logan to hang tough in their game will they win prob. not but I believe Logan shows promise for the future of their program.

I LOOK FOR IRONTON AND LOGAN TO HAVE VERY STRONG PROGRAMS JUST AROUND THE CORNER, AS ALWAYS. AND WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE 2 DO BATTLE AGAIN IN YEARS TO COME, GREAT RIVALRY, AND PASSIONATE FANS FROM BOTH SIDES.

GOOD LUCK TO LOGAN AND THE FIGHTING TIGERS TONIGHT. BOTH MAY BE A LIL OUTMANNED DEPTHWISE TONIGHT, BUT ARE BUILDING A FUTURE, BUT THE ONE THING YOU CAN'T MEASURE IS A MAN'S HEART.------------GO GET EM FIGHTING TIGERS, SMACK EM RIGHT IN THE JIB.

Personally I can't see there's a whole lot to talk here about here, dead man walking, that might sum it up ironton is going to take that long drive up there with about 50 fans in tow and it's going be all for nothing. What happens the next couple years is all dependent on the coach. If he can keep the boys upbeat about the future and get them to come out again next year the program will be restored but if not it could be one of the worst programs in the tri-state for years, many years

Wow!! You cant be serious? Worst program in area for many years? Come on. Ironton would have quit football all together to ever have worst program in the area. Come on.

Here's to an injury-free game, for starters. Secondly, I sure hope playing these big games has forced Ironton to improve. I'd love to see the Tigers rout Oak Hill and Raceland, and then come into Week 11 a much different team.

You need to read all that Elmer Fudd wrote. Elmer said that if the coach can't keep them upbeat next year and get them out then yeah I think they'll be one of if not the worst program in the tristate. I did toss you all a bone and said that I think they'll be back on top too if it's done right.

LOL, didn't Ironotn quit football already and turned itself into a round ball school?

Hartley is the real deal! Several d-1 players and I'm certain many more will play college ball if they choose to do so! Also a class move from their coach for subbing when we began pulling our 1st team. They may have the best defensive linemen #49 that I've seen. I don't believe anyone in southern ohio has anything to offer this team!

fighting tigers need to put 4 tough losses behind them with Ashland, ky. /Johnson central, ky----Columbus saint Charles and Columbus bishop Hartley. and get ready for the final w opponents oak hill, and raceland. both of these teams have good quality programs and will be all the fighting tigers can handle right now. but 2 wins may get them in at 4-6. which is basically unheard of in ironton football lore. but it is what it is. and i'm sure the young fighting tigers will give it everything they got. and leave it all on the field.

this ole boy is still proud of his fighting tigers, sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug
it's not that you get knocked down, the winning is that you keep getting up. these young'uns don't realize it now, but they are learning life skills right now about the real world, and we're proud of ya'll.

We know Wheelersburg will be a tough nut for Hartley to crack.
