I know that the Danville/East Knox game along with the Fairfield Christian/Fisher Catholic game, will affect this region.

Ready IS NOT the official 1....I posted that link because FORT FRYE is official.

3 games will impact:

Chesapeake @ Rock Hill (Valley)
Danville vs East Knox (Centerburg)
Fairfield C vs Fisher C (Ready)

Valley can be the 1 seed with a Peake win and Fisher Catholic loss...

N/C and Bellaire could also swap 3/4

jagered,

I understand your logic in terms of local schools being matched up against one another in the playoffs, but look at it this way...with Valley hosting Oak Hill, the SOC is GUARANTEED a team in the second round regardless of if the draw holds true to form or if there's an upset. It's a glass half full, glass half empty type of situation. The Oaks were going to draw either Valley or Ready, and obviously a win over either would be a huge upset. As much as I always hate local schools playing each other in the playoffs (unless it were a Regional Final game), I think this scenario is one of the better for the area with the significant difference in talent level between the top 4 or 5 teams in each Region and the bottom 3 or 4 (specifically speaking of Regions 17 and 21 where the majority of our local schools are).

Of course, none of that matters a bit until the seeding is officially settled after the games still remaining are finished. Several things could still change in this region.

Centerburg will be the 3. East Knox is not going to beat Danville.

ok Peake will beat rock hill by 50 and just going off their schedule because I know nothing about them but both Fisher Cath and Fairfield Christian are not very good so we will see. I hadn't really paid much attention to Peake but they r 1-8, but they had a really tough schedule this year.

Peake win not win by 50. They may win, but it will be a game.

I'm aware of the history. East Knox has one win in the last 10+ years.

Centerburg will be the #3.

Rock hill has improved. They were the first team to hold Fairland under 30 points last week. They won the week before that and played South point real tight the week before.

Peake may win the game, but I expect a close one.

Take it for what it's worth but Drew's site has the spread at Fairfield Christian -3 at Fisher cath and last's nights game between Valley and Minford was Valley -14. But he also had todays oldest rivalry in the state Canton McKinley-2 at Massilon and the last score I seen on that game was 42-7 Massilon.#WAY OFF haha
