Orioles take 2 of 3 from the Rays. Chris Davis with another home run and 4 rbi's today. In the series he goes for 3 HR and 11 RBI. Miguel Gonzales picks up the win and Jim Johnson his second save of the year.
Baltimore's 3-4-5 hitters (Davis, Adam Jones and Matt Weiters) go 17-37 with 4 HR, 6 doubles, 13 runs scored and 15 RBI. Second baseman Brian Roberts had to be helped off the field after sliding into second base on a stolen base.

I think for Baltimore if the pitching can hold up they will give team fits all season long.

They seem to be starting where they left off last season. Can't remember exact numbers but last year the O's were something like 18-1 in extra inning games. They were getting adequate starting pitching and the bullpen was excellent although Pedro Strop (set up man) did falter somewhat down the stretch.
Have been an O's fan since they beat the Reds in the 70 World Series. Haven't had much to cheer about other than Ripken Jr consecutive games streak since early 80's. Maybe 83???
