Early Look at SEOAL-Boys-2016

Post by noreply66 »

Warren

Warren should have no problem scoring in almost every event. The 4x100 might be the only event they come up with a zero. They also might have trouble with getting more than one person picking up points in several events. Pole vault looks to be their best event. Might be a first in 2016 where Warren just might not win a relay. The team is always well coached so don't put money on it. Warren has some good talent coming up as freshman that will step in right away.

Logan

It will be a shock if Logan doesn't score in every event. Logan could win all four relays depending on if they break the teams up to run some other event. Look for Logan to place two boys in three of the field events. If Logan gets shutout in any event it might be the 400. Logan as well has some freshmen that will step in early.

Jackson

Jackson will make a good showing with scoring in 15 events. Only events they might be shutout in is the 4x800 and Pole vault and they don't do the PV. Jackson will mostly pick up 3rd and 4th place points with a few events getting both.

Gallipolis

I see Gallipolis scoring in 8 to 10 events. Gallipolis could be puzzling at times. They have some runner that put in the right place could be shocking. They do have some good distant runners that might jell in cross-country and run over into track. Numbers could be down with Gallipolis.

The Finish

Logan should take the lead on the first event and not look back. Just hope things don't go as it did in 2015 where several boys didn't perform their best. Warren lost too much to repeat. Don't know if the numbers will be down for Warren. Seems like you don't hear too much in big names.
