Beasts of the Southeast Jan 13th. The Peake will be honoring former coach Lewis Dantoni before the Peake and Trimble game. He passed away recently as we hoped he could have attended the game. Some of the family will be in attendance.
He was the father of Dan the current coach of Marshall University, Mike coach of NBA Houston they have games scheduled and wont be able ro attend Also. Kathy and Mark the youngest who graduated from Chesapeake. He was a great coach and fine gentlemen, he was also the assistant principal during my years at Chesapeake.

Great choice for this year's honoree peake71 ... my condolences to the Dantoni family on their loss ... Dantoni - a legendary name in Southern Ohio hoops for sure ... good stuff ... looking forward to being in the Cheap Seats on Saturday Jan. 13th or the day's festivities ... 5 great games, one price - perfect !

Curious about the line-up. Alexander is coming a long way and has to play the last game with a high chance of snow Sat. night???

I would be heading up to the event,but; my Indians are playing at home that day. I will be listening to all the games I can find though. I will be watching seops for scores as well.

... I'm only guessing but I would have thought Fairland vs Waverly would have been in the nightcap BUT "my guess" is Fairland will be leaving right after their game Saturday to head for Dayton where they take on ASVSM on Sunday I believe - I may wrong but that's my thinking anyway ...

... I thought that might the case Beasts Member ... the 2 games were just flip flopped so the Dragons could to Dayton at a reasonable hour, and safely ... makes sense to me ...

Weather is looking like it could be pretty rough Saturday morning. Hope the storm they are calling for moves north or south of us.

... Mrs. Floyd says she is staying home as well , supposed to be some nasty weather moving in Friday night into Saturday , hopefully I am able to make the trip myself !
