My best friends won’t answer a text or I’d have itHoopie74 wrote: Tue Jan 09, 2018 9:45 pm I will have North Adams vs whiteoak after while. They are on tape delay on C-103 starting in 5 minutes.
Re: Tuesday 1/9 game updates
On this taped delay, North Adams isn't missing and playing D. 30- 13 at the half. North Adams up.

That was my guess.Hoopie74 wrote: Tue Jan 09, 2018 10:33 pmOn this taped delay, North Adams isn't missing and playing D. 30- 13 at the half. North Adams up.

One of the players father, someone in the stands said. Not sure what he would be upset about.Raider6309 wrote: Tue Jan 09, 2018 8:49 pm VC fan gets thrown out to a VC standing ovation. Ty Webb again? jk
Re: Tuesday 1/9 game updates
Fans always look dumb getting thrown out of a game. However when they get tossed out of a game their team is winning, it adds a new degree of dumbness.Raider6309 wrote: Tue Jan 09, 2018 8:49 pm VC fan gets thrown out to a VC standing ovation. Ty Webb again? jk

Athens plays that Zone and shots are available . Get out of that zone and matchup and those 3s will be not be a factor . Athens has some quickness to do that. Not sure if its to slow the game down for their bigs or what but that zone is like playing horse. If they go man only use one big and close out on the 3 ball shooters . Athens is better than record shows .

Athens should be 6-6. Instead of 3-9. Marietta 65-67, Alex 44-50 and Wellston 61-62, all good games that Athens "should" of won. It is what it is.Truth&fiction wrote: Wed Jan 10, 2018 9:45 amAthens plays that Zone and shots are available . Get out of that zone and matchup and those 3s will be not be a factor . Was trying to figure out how Warren scoring reached 80 with only the contributors listed above.Fanatic wrote: Tue Jan 09, 2018 9:43 pm Freshman Dennis had at least 10 to 12 in 1st half, Huffman came alive in 4th, Williams with 6 in 3rd qtr. and Troy Huck with a monster slam.
I think both teams ran out of defense, several easy layups late in game.
According to the box score in today's paper it makes sense now.
As listed in box score .............
J Huffman 14pts
J Hall 10pts
T Huck 9pts
N Nichols 22pts
T Williams 6pts
B Knost 5pts
S Dennis 14pts

Re: Tuesday 1/9 game updates
Congratulations to the Fairland Dragons on their win over Portsmouth........they jumped to a 16-6 lead, and a 30-14 lead by halftime, but the Trojans cut the lead to 44-33, then Luke Thomas hit 3 straight 3's and the rally ended right there. Still, proud of my Trojans for battling a team that in my estimation is the best in the SE district any division. PHS (7-3) should still win around 15 games in the regular season.
