Let it go man. Jackson has a shot to share the fac title with Hillsboro . A great achievementBlueLion4Life wrote: Sat Oct 20, 2018 12:01 amoh so you know the definition of these words!! You didn’t reply you’d admit wrong to me.BlueLion4Life wrote: Fri Oct 19, 2018 11:49 pmWow, I'm so glad that you are right! do you want a cookie? Are we competing to see who was right. I told you when I replied to you that I would admit if I was wrong. I'm so glad that you were able to carry on the Ironmen way of badgering. You're so good at that! you make Jackson PROUD!!Ironman92 wrote: Fri Oct 19, 2018 11:45 pmWho told you there was a head to head tie-breaker? Was it me? Was it a league AD? No, no one told you. You made it up and you were wrong. You messed this up so just sit there...or leave, I don’t careBlueLion4Life wrote: Fri Oct 19, 2018 11:18 pm
I have not read the by-laws. However, it is widely known in sports that the head to head would be the deciding factor. whether or not the FAC is smart enough to follow the norm I'm not sure.![]()
You spouted off and you are wrong. If Hillsboro beats McClain they will be Co champs with Jackson/Chillicothe winner. I gave you a chance to say maybe you weren’t positive but you instead just let me know it was widely known. Head to head with only 5 games would be dumb. The Rockies/Dodgers and Cubs/Brewers just played 162 games and they were tied....and you know what they did, they played a tie-breaker to determine champion.
And I did get it from a league AD....and multiple other conferences do it the same. Whether you or I agree with it is moo.
Sure, I’d love a cookie...can’t keep this bod by eating salad. You made it a competition with your two 100% sure posts that made my post incorrect. I’m wrong all the time...didn’t feel like being wrong when I wasn’t.

I'm more than willing to admit it if I'm wrong, but my guess would be that head-to-head isn't used as a tiebreaker. To me, Hillsboro will clinch a share of the FAC title with a win next week. They'll share it with Chillicothe if the Cavs beat Jackson, or they'll share it with Jackson if the Ironmen beat Chillicothe. Two 4-1 teams in conference play will be a shared championship.
Again, I could definitely be wrong since the FAC is a new league and could have adopted a head-to-head policy in their bylaws, but that's not the way several other leagues handle it.
for instance look at GAHS tonight, they have won the OVC championship outright even with a loss next week. it's been the talk of the town all week. Because they beat Ironton tonight they would have the head to head match up and still be the champs.
I will gladly admit if I'm wrong as well.
