Northwest had a freshman linebacker Evan Lintz who recorded 120 tackles this season in 8 1/2 games. To me 200 in season is just crazy. Defense on the field way to much.

When Ronnie Wend did it in 2017 he was all over the field. Our starters didn't play to many 4th quarters that season. They didn't play much of the 3rd quarter either.
He had a good nose for the ball and went after it.
The kid weighed 160 pounds and played like he was 220 pounds.

Back then the Portsmouth Daily Times put the stats in the paper. Every year/week Notre Dame would have the top 3-4 kids in the area in tackles. They consistently had 2 kids at or near 200 tackles.

I swear my freshman year we beat them 57-0 and we may have ran 25 plays total. They had two kids that "recorded" 20+ tackles. Pretty sure that if you were in the screen at the end of the play, you got credit for a tackle.

I would think the Carmichael kid at Wheelersburg had to be very close, if not over.
