Same situation as the Jackson vs. Wellston series. Just a money maker. Waverly is the bigger school with the more successful program and needs to step up in competition. Piketon is the smaller school trying to rebuild so they need to play teams they are more competitive with.

Ya, I believe it was mutual with all parties. Maybe at some point down the road they can renew it but at this point in time its just not a good situation for either team - other than the gate....

Smart move by both schools. I'd like to see Waverly get a series started with Chillicothe. HUGE gate plus great competition.
