Thoughts on this upcoming season?

If the Numbers stay up the Spartans should do okay.
Coach Dean is working them hard.

I absolutely agree with you. Looking very promising this season for the Spartans with lots returning. Many new faces in the weight room I hear and many multiple sport athletes making their way onto the field. Very excited to see what Coach Dean and company can put together this season

I've had a couple conversations with Coach Dean and I think the Spartans should do well this year. They finished 4-6 with less than 25 players and we're pretty close to finishing 6-4. Numbers are coming up and the kids have bought in.

Getting informed that your week one opponent no longer wants to play you within less than a year time makes you have to take whoever is out there. Thankful they were able to fill the slot.

They had to pick up whoever they could. Fed dropped them and their wasn't a lot of week 1 openings.

Anything is possible. I think they are still a year away from worrying about the playoffs. I think a winning record in 2019 would do wonders to bring the numbers up to where they should be and then the playoffs will come into the picture.

I think good things will happen for the Spartans in 2019

Lots of great leadership in the upperclassmen at Alexander with 3 years of playing experience. Look for them to surprise many in Southeastern Ohio.
