Ready or Not: It's Week ONE

Post by BigChuck »

It's Week 1, just four more practices to clean it up on offense; to understand assignments on defense; to shore up the holes on special teams...so who is ready and who is having some anxiety???

I believe Burg is ready, the fans up 52 believe Ironton is ready; Should be a great first game of the season.

What do you feel about your team right now?

There's the BURG....then there's everyone else!

Well, I live over 2000 miles away (las vegas), but I have been told my school, Fairfield Union, only has 29 players out this year and haven't looked good in scrimmages. So the feeling is not good going into the season. Hopefully there are some classes coming up with larger numbers, but having nearly 20 more kids playing girls soccer than football seems like an issue. I think they have a good coaching staff, but not sure why kids aren't coming out, but a school the size of FU should have more than 29 kids, you'd think.
