I see Fort Frye with the easy win, lets hope both schools have an injury free game.

I’m going to go to this one might be last time these 2 ever meet in football. The tradition is nuts. I love watching games in Woodsfield.

Woodsfield might be one of the better places to take in a game.

Woodsfield is awful. Everytime ff played there it was like playing against 16 guys. Phantom call here phantom call there. Grant it back in the day they were more talented most years. But the years we were close or better it was guaranteed we weren't winning. Now it doesn't matter, but ask those that were around in the 80s and 90s and they'll tell you I'm not exaggerating

It is pretty momentous. Make sure you go and give every fan a goodbye hug on your way out.

Yeah, I mean that is how most great programs establish themselves. But FF also didn’t beat them at home most of the 80s & 90s, so not sure what happened there.

No doubt, unfortunately those few years we had good teams we had to play there. Not taking away from circosta and those teams, but I'm glad not to make that trip anymore

So perhaps FF takes out 3 decades of frustration out on those Woodsfield boys. Can't see this any closer than 30 for Cadets.
Gonna be a hot one. Hydrate.

End the series winning 5 in a row after getting throttled for 30 years. Heck we’ve won 5 of last 6.

The closest game I remember at Woodsfield was 16-14 in 1991. I remember The Seminoles scoring at the end of the first half with a pass out of the polecat formation. I remember Fort Frye had a fourth and one and Monroe put 11 in the box, leaving a wide receiver completely uncovered before the play. Our QB never even looked at the receiver jumping up and down, waving his hands and yelling before the snap. We got stuffed at the line.

I do not recall any referee controversy at any time.

Was going to post about that game. One of the best games I’ve ever watched. Great atmosphere.

I wonder who each team will pick up once the series ends?
Fort Frye getting Trimble possibly?
Monroe Central getting some team from southeast, i.e. a Belpre or Waterford?

Fort Frye is picking up Trimble and, I believe, Williamstown?
