Ironton playoff past
I know that ironton has been in several state championship games and several were played in the shoe. 1988 and 1989 were in the shoe. For some reason I am thinking ironton I remember them playing and rolling someone in the playoffs in the shoe. Am I crazy. Can someone help me out here. For some reason I am thinking it was valley view But that would have been in 1992 state semi finals. But the state championship was played at Massillon that year I believe. Can anyone help an old guy out here

Thank you raider. I knew I wasn’t nuts. Thinking back about that how rare was it for a playoff game not a state championship game to be played at the shoe. I don’t know if any other ones

Re: Ironton playoff past
Usually ironton is tough in the playoffs. A strong running game plus a fast/physical defense added to refs on the take is hard to beat anywhere.
