Bummer tonight in Fairfield Co.

So as some of you may know, country music superstar Luke Bryan is playing tonight in what is essentially a “once in a lifetime” type of concert at a large farm in Pleasantville. This concert was announced far in advance. Far enough in advance. At the same time, Berne Union was originally slated to play Fairfield Christian at Millersport HS on a Friday night, which this week would’ve been last night. However, a month ago Fairfield Christian officials told BU and Mid-State League officials that the game would instead be played on Saturday night (tonight) with no apparent reason given.

The “bummer” is many of the BU players and families had already bought the $100+ tickets for the concert before it was announced that the game was shifted from Friday to Saturday. BU repeatedly tried and asked for the game to be reverted back to Friday night, but supposedly FCA never responded. Booo!
