Top 10 SE District Teams after Week 6

Post by Ironman92 »

1. Jackson
2. Gallia Academy
3. Ironton
4. Waverly
5. Sheridan
6. Trimble
7. Unioto
8. Minford
9. Adena
10. Southeastern

*Sticking with my “must be above .500 rule”...for me at least

Next up: Paint Valley, Wellston, Nelsonville, Portsmouth

Burg might find a spot next week at 4-3, but no guarantee

Not being facetious but I’d love to hear your reasoning for having unioto ahead of the other svc teams. Especially since Adena won the head to head

Close to what I have on these teams but just a little rearranging.
1. Jackson
2. Trimble (can't take away what this group has done the last 2 years, could be looking at a state champion here)
3. Gallia
4. Ironton
5. Waverly
6. Sheridan
7. Paint Valley
8. Southeastern
9. Minford
10. Adena

Just on the outside looking in Portsmouth, Unioto (need to see more consistent play), Wellston

Maybe the best win of any SE district team. Just drilled the Waverly team that looks as good as anyone.

The top 10 seems to be getting more difficult as we go, typically it gets more and more cut dry

Looks pretty good to me also. Did Paint Valley lose there QB for the year, or was it another SVC team?

I figured that was where you were going with it. We need to be more consistent so we can have more performances like that. We have a couple opportunities left with PV and SE coming up.

That win for UHS was against a Shanks-less Waverly squad, for what it's worth. With that being said, I think PV, Adena, Unioto, and SE are any given day teams. Each being capable of being better than the other.
