15.28 average yards a carry. Crazy average. Simple as that.

Re: Southeastern - Zane Trace
It’s kind of a double edged sword. If ruby is in a position to get 20-25 carries a game he’s probably not running at a 15 yard average. If he’s averaging 15 yard per and getting 20-25 carries then his team is probably scoring between 90 and 100 points a gameChief02 wrote: Wed Oct 09, 2019 6:42 am 15.28 average yards a carry. I’m sorry, but give him as many touches as Peyton Shoemaker and it’s not even close as to who the better player is.....Ruby is. Hands down!
Re: Southeastern - Zane Trace
Why even post it?? Comparing Apple's and oranges. A lot of it is like little said but let's go deeper. One is playing QB, the other RB, ruby gets boot passes and runs that fake out a defense and when he drops back to pass he can take off giving him a ton of open field. Waverly competition is well above that of SE at this point, their toughest games are final 3. Defensively, Peyton is a focal point in the running game ruby isn't as justified from just 7-8 carries a game. Everyone should just be enjoying these 2 tremendous players as they can turn a uneventful play into a highlight play quickly.Chief02 wrote: Wed Oct 09, 2019 6:42 am 15.28 average yards a carry. Yep, impossible to compare. Different kind of teams, different positions. Both very special players that area fans should enjoy.greygoose wrote: Wed Oct 09, 2019 4:06 pmWhy even post it?? I apologize. I edited my post. I meant no disrespect to Shoemaker. I understand the difference from positions and schemes.greygoose wrote: Wed Oct 09, 2019 4:06 pmWhy even post it?? No need to apologize. Nothing wrong with having an opinion on who you think is better. That’s what these forums are for, as long as another kid isn’t being degraded or put down. You could easily make an argument for bothChief02 wrote: Wed Oct 09, 2019 4:38 pmI apologize. I edited my post. I meant no disrespect to Shoemaker. Re: Southeastern - Zane Trace
Quick Twitter check, looks like his 4 TD runs accounted for roughly 180yds.
Re: Southeastern - Zane Trace
Hmmmm, I'll give you props for trying to pick a upset this week though

So far he’s been that 8th grade stud playing against inferior talent.....he’s been managed well IMO. Glad they aren’t running him to death in games they know will likely be blowouts. He’d have ridiculous numbers but that’s not the big picture. Very interested in the next 3 weeks. I’ll be rooting for him.

Absolutely they have managed him well. I’m excited to see what the next three weeks brings in the challenges he will be facing.Ironman92 wrote: Sun Oct 13, 2019 6:45 pmSo far he’s been that 8th grade stud playing against inferior talent.....he’s been managed well IMO.
