NAL? New League Forming
Neighbors Athletic League
ADs talking and this league is gaining steam. Would be a 6 team league and could affect the efficiencies of several other leagues.

Not sure if these natural rivals would ask Logan to join or not.

Are you saying that they wouldn't at least consider Athens and Logan as charter members, and possibly have an 8 team league?Ironman92 wrote: Tue Oct 22, 2019 11:14 pm Neighbors Athletic League

Marietta says no to Athens, claiming city is too ugly compared to theirsVetteMan wrote: Tue Oct 22, 2019 11:22 pmAre you saying that they wouldn't at least consider Athens and Logan as charter members, and possibly have an 8 team league?Ironman92 wrote: Tue Oct 22, 2019 11:14 pm Neighbors Athletic League

I usually have an answer, but I'm just completely caught off guard by your answer. Dumbfounded would probably be more accurate.Ironman92 wrote: Tue Oct 22, 2019 11:29 pmMarietta says no to Athens, claiming city is too ugly compared to theirsVetteMan wrote: Tue Oct 22, 2019 11:22 pmAre you saying that they wouldn't at least consider Athens and Logan as charter members, and possibly have an 8 team league?Ironman92 wrote: Tue Oct 22, 2019 11:14 pm Neighbors Athletic League

Re: NAL? New League Forming
Their words not mine. In Marietta’s defense it is a really pretty city. If it weren’t in Pennsylvania I’d be more apt to have kids get out of class in 6th period and hop on the bus to go there.VetteMan wrote: Tue Oct 22, 2019 11:44 pmI usually have an answer, but I'm just completely caught off guard by your answer. I just hope that you keep everybody updated as to there meetings, and to the progress being made. I'm sure that if other schools names come into play, that you will share that information also.Ironman92 wrote: Tue Oct 22, 2019 11:49 pmTheir words not mine. Re: NAL? New League Forming
Word on the street is Ironton is really pushing to get Minford in the league and drop Huntington to keep a consistent M school for the last 5 games.

Re: NAL? New League Forming
Couple questions as I want to make sure it's not the teams I'm thinking of and there's different ones out there for this to make sense to me. Manchester and Huntington Ross?? Also why in the world would Miami Trace take on that much drive time?? I thought the FAC was strong and well and now you've got Miami Trace leaving.Ironman92 wrote: Tue Oct 22, 2019 11:14 pm Neighbors Athletic League

Manchester to Huntington Ross is only 1 hr 30 min bus ride.greygoose wrote: Wed Oct 23, 2019 8:38 amCouple questions as I want to make sure it's not the teams I'm thinking of and there's different ones out there for this to make sense to me. FAC is strong but Miami Trace wants a league that is winnable for their bowling team.

NAL would be the premiere bowling league in Ohio hands down .
Re: NAL? New League Forming
Nah, Miller and Ironton are weaker bowling schools.Poo Bear wrote: Wed Oct 23, 2019 9:04 amIronman92 wrote: Wed Oct 23, 2019 8:56 amManchester to Huntington Ross is only 1 hr 30 min bus ride.greygoose wrote: Wed Oct 23, 2019 8:38 am

Re: NAL? New League Forming
I heard this afternoon that a couple SOC schools, I'm not at liberty to say SOC-1 or 2, once they got wind of the bowling, are attempting to set up some kind of a special meeting sometime this week. This thing has really taken off like a wildfire.Ironman92 wrote: Wed Oct 23, 2019 12:42 pmSadly that part of it seems to be falling through.victor creed wrote: Wed Oct 23, 2019 12:20 pm Tom Hanks to reprise his mr Rodgers role as commissioner

Manchester is a clear favorite. I would try to get mentor or Massillon to have a few easy games and keep the M going.

Re: NAL? New League Forming
no possible way ironton will be a party to this. why would they travel to Marietta. and they have no rivalries what soever with the others mentioned. this would be absolutely absurd.
