Troy Christian at Fisher Cath. (R27 Watch)
Game is significant to the final berths in D7, Region 27 and in particular one that Frontier fans will have their eyes on.
Troy Christian makes the trek to Lancaster. The Eagles are generally a solid D6 program. This year they’ve lost handily to all of the good teams they’ve played and have beaten all of the bad teams they have played.
Basically is a win-and-in situation for FC. Regardless of the result, a memorable season. FC will likely finish the regular season with 3000-3100 yards rushing as a team (they’re at 2895 right now.) Quality of competition aside, they don’t make a point to stat pad and many of their games they only had the ball once or twice in the second half. In Trey, we trust.
Good luck to F.C.

Re: Troy Christian at Fisher Cath. (R27 Watch)
I’ll try to keep this updated as the game goes on tonight. It will be a beautifully cold evening at Lancaster’s Fulton Field. Very experienced FC team going against a fundamentally sound TC team. Troy Christian likes to run the ball but also mix in some passing. They run Wing-T variants in their offense and have two especially talented running backs and a good QB. They have balance on offense. FC’s two losses to Lucas (big power run, edge and sweep team out of the double-wing) and Worthington Christian (run and gun team with a big receiver corps, a team that can possibly spoil in D6 playoffs) made them stronger. Troy Christian likes to do a 3-man front with lots of gap shooting, like week one opponent TCC.
If FC’s big and athletic o-line can win the points of attack, and if FC gets the game they’re capable of out of their linebackers, I see FC winning this. Not a blowout but one they can control if they get ahead. QB Kaden Starcher looks to be the x-factor in his final game at Fulton Field, and 29th career start as the Irish signal-caller.

If this one would have been a Saturday night game, I would be taking it in.
Good luck Fisher.
