After a crushing blowout loss to Ironton, look for Penrod and co. to have the boys playing angry this week.

South Point looks to escape the basement of the OVC with an upset win over the visiting Blue Devils.

There’s no way to hype this game. It’s going to get ugly fast. South point is headed the right direction but will take a defeat. Gallia by 40 or more.

Pointers defense can’t stop anybody. Numbers 40 Pearson and 21 Clay are the only players on the team that know how to tackle. Offense has showed promise the past few weeks. In the Chesapeake game they got the running game going and showed some promise, and gave the QB a little time to throw and the past 2 weeks against the he Trojans and Blue Devils they really showed what that young QB Lambert can do in the passing game when given time to throw the ball. If they can keep the numbers up and start playing some defense I really believe they could make some noise in the OVC in the next couple of years. Believe it or not South Point is a very talent rich school have at athletes in that school that are as talented as anybody in the area for some reason they just can’t get them on the football field.
