How will your coach vote in D2 seedings

It's High School Basketball, anything can happen. With the way teams fire up 3's all it takes is a hot night shooting, a couple players in foul trouble or an injury and all of a sudden your season is over. Even teams like New Lex and Hillsboro could pull big upsets.

The argument for the 1 seed between jackson and Fu is interesting.
Fu played the better schedule by a mile, but Jackson also competed with chilli and has really beat the brakes off of some people. Really, most people.
Fu on the other hand had some really nice wins early and in the middle of the year until they lost magill, and it seemed like they hit a lull. The last week or so though they've seemed to find their rythm again.

I don't think a coach would be "wrong" either way they vote, but I think fu has certainly played the better schedule. I'm also clearly biased... lol


I'd guess fu wants to avoid having to play LE a 3rd time, early.

You guys are going to get to watch some awesome sectional and district games, and I'm extremely jealous. It'll be basketball:30 before we know it!!

This is true and in this sectional, a big upset wouldn't shock me one bit.

JG crammed in a zone, Sheridan had a very poor shooting night. 5-24 from 3, 7-20 from line. Just a bad night all the way around. Nice bounce back win last night though against another zone all night.

I think the 6-8 seeds could go any direction depending on how much coaches work together.

13/14 have same record too so who knows how coaches will vote on that.

As a Sheridan guy, I think we'd want to avoid a 3rd game with NL, but don't know a thing about Hillsboro. As for the 2nd round, I think Athens is a better match up than LE, but it's hard to tell, I really haven't seen a whole lot of either team. LE and Sheridan would be a contrast in physical make up, with LE being guard oriented and Sheridan being bigger and stronger. I thought McClain was a better matchup last year rather than Waverly but handled Waverly pretty easily so you just never know how things will play out.
