Snodgrass was a student/athlete first type of guy. He was nothing like the guy he took over for. The kids came first to him. That is why Ohio is ahead of the curve in getting high school sports opened back up.

Remember the OHSAA Board of Directors is made up of high school administrators. (Superintendents, A.D., Principals, etc.) Everybody knows those people no longer care about kids. Its all about the politics in those positions. Snodgrass stood up for kids and said let’s move this along and get back to some sense of normalcy.

It’s no secret that Snodgrass has took multiple shots at DeWine. DeWine was upset that it seemed Snodgrass endorsed the idea of overnight camps yesterday in this email. DeWine didn’t directly fire Snodgrass but he had a part in it.
We all know about the email. It sent out as a press release right after it is sent to the AD's
Snodgrass is more than likely out because the board wants quicker decisions regarding fall sports.
Quit throwing stuff at the wall hoping it will stick

You’re naive if You think everything was just fine yesterday and he’s out just like that. I got some insight one this if you want to talk on Facebook. He was told to not even mention the lawsuit in the presser.

Being that I know nothing at all about this, has a successor already been named ? Wow the timing of this, I wonder if the whole story will come out ?

Leffingwell was on the fan and said it had nothing to do with timing of sports. They hope to hire a new director within 5-6 weeks

A fellow named Bob Goldring had been named interim OHSAA director. I do not have a dog in the fight but I find it interesting to follow the ebb and flow of current news stories that have arisen during the contagion.

Snodgrass wanted to limit workouts to team on team. The camps sued. DeWine said that Ohsaa has no control over summer camps. Snodgrass was told not to mention lawsuit they didn’t want it to become public he did anyway. The board met and decided he had to go.
