Looks like they moved fall sports to winter. They can do that because of the weather.

Yep, something will happen around here question is will we see a full cancel or an abbreviated spring season?? OHSAA has already said they really can't afford the economic loss, have to think if the gov. decides no ball that they'll attempt it in the spring.

They've said A LOT of things, guy saying no football in the spring is long gone also. Also said they'll be football but you really think places in these hot spot areas here in Ohio are going to be able to?? Hey I hope they do don't get me wrong, been hoping this the entire time but there's hope and there's realism. However I'm not going to sit here and think they can't do this because they said back in APRIL they wouldn't move seasons.

They’ve already said they won’t cancel spring sports 2 years in a row. Sounds like it’s more likely to be canceled than played in spring.

Football is not going to be played in spring. It would run into the state basketball tourney. Most schools in the area couldn’t field a baseball and football team.

Yet there's all kinds of places talking about moving to spring, so to sit here and say they're NOT going to do this would seem to be a bit short sided. Isn't state basketball tourney over in like March?? Don't think that'll effect it, some schools might not be able to field both a baseball team and football team but most schools can and you have to think of Ohio as a whole not just SEO on how decisions will be made. I'm not saying it's going to happen, I'm actually against it quite frankly but it has more to do with playing football in the spring and then turning around almost with zero break and getting ready for fall. I'm just not going to sit here and say it's NOT going to happen when you can see states and colleges are already looking at the possibility which in turn will make everyone look at every option.

I’ve been told by some legit sources that it’s more likely to be canceled than played in spring. Northeast coaches already proposed a plan that would play football in spring and it was shot down quickly just last week. Northeast coaches had a plan to play 7 week season in spring have a dead pd during the summer than do another 7 week season in fall. Just to many things that would work against football in the spring to be viable.

It could get interesting, at one point most thought it would be played and I myself am hopeful. However with the passing days it's getting less likely given the notion they thought they were going to play I don't know how seriously people looked at playing in the spring time. If it is canceled by Dewine that's where you'll see more people look at other possibilities at least in my mind that's how I see it working out. It's like everyone looking at it and saying plan A is our best option, no one looks at plan B until they realize plan A is the worst option. Time will tell though. As usual good stuff ED
