Re: First Practice Numbers
Kids have been stuck at home too long!! Gotta let some energy loose, no better way than some football.
Re: First Practice Numbers
Saw where Fed Hock had 27 I think? That is good to hear. Hopefully they can start building that program back up.

Probably more than what it was during the Lutz era. Kids that want to play major College Football are going to start going to Ironton. This is the culture we live in these days.Tristate all stars wrote: Tue Aug 04, 2020 12:24 pmWonder how many of those kids actually live in Ironton

A myth perpetuated by Ironton fans that you need to go to play for Ironton in order to play major college football.

Re: First Practice Numbers
No one said you couldnt make it from other schools. But its a lot easier at Ironton. Every College program in America has heard of Ironton due to its history. BTW, Pistol since you love taking shots at Ironton name me the last kid from Coal Grove to play for a Power 5 school like Ohio State?pistol wrote: Tue Aug 04, 2020 12:53 pm A myth perpetuated by Ironton fans that you need to go to play for Ironton in order to play major college football.

I don’t know the efforts other Coaches put in getting their players names and highlights out to Colleges but The Fighting Tigers Coaches are doing an incredible job as the last couple years show.XandOs wrote: Tue Aug 04, 2020 1:41 pmNo one said you couldnt make it from other schools. Re: First Practice Numbers
Not sure, have to ask the Coach. CP number can give you somewhat of an idea. Their CP number is about the same as Wheelersburgs, actually a little less.Tristate all stars wrote: Tue Aug 04, 2020 12:24 pmWonder how many of those kids actually live in Ironton

You have to understand the CP numbers, some kids are 2 points and some are 1 point.Tristate all stars wrote: Tue Aug 04, 2020 12:24 pmWonder how many of those kids actually live in Ironton

Re: First Practice Numbers
They’d have to move in or they’d be ineligible if they played somewhere else last year or they can only play half the season. Right now it’s a cluster with all that’s going on.ohbuckeye2 wrote: Tue Aug 04, 2020 3:06 pmohbuckeye2 wrote: Tue Aug 04, 2020 2:56 pmNot sure, have to ask the Coach.
