Piketon opens up at River Valley, first time meeting. The Redstreaks return Qb Gullion (1987 yards last year), 6 Wr’s, led by Seniors Chandler, Fuller, Maynard, Jr’s Loar, Burton and Potts. RB still up for grabs, and 4 OL from last years team. Defensively the Streaks should be improved, return all but 1 LB, 1 DE and Safety. Good numbers, 45 + first week.

RV is improved...some....The red streaks should take care of business. But the revised schedule seems to not have them playing correct ??

Let’s look at stats from 2008, 4th in league in defense 24.2 ppg, 09 2nd 18.7, 10 4th 23.3, 11 5th 24.4, 12 1st 19.0, 13 6th 31.9, 14 7th 30.0, 15 4th 20.8, 16 3rd 23.7, 17 4th 20.7, 18 8th 43.0, 19 6th 36.3 ppg.

That’s an average finish of 4.5 in the league. Years 18 and 19 were by far their worst, considering year 18 seven to be seniors quit before the season started, is to be expected.
