Post by mattash »

Philo - Tri-Valley
West Muskingum - Morgan
Maysville - Sheridan
New Lexington - Meadowbrook
River View - John Glenn
Coshocton - Crooksville

Thoughts?

None of them will be close. MVL has almost no middle of the road teams.

Tri-Valley at Philo should be a really good game. Both teams should finish in the top 3 of the big school division with Sheridan.
I give TV the edge in a close game.

Morgan at West M two of the bottom teams in the small school division. Morgan the likely winner.

Sheridan should beat Maysville by 2 or 3 scores.

Meadowbrook at New Lexington is basically the small school championship. Meadowbrook should win by a couple scores.

I expect John Glenn over River View, but it could be a good game.

Coshocton should be able to beat Crooksville soundly.

Aren't they two separate leagues? Doesn't make sense to compare New Lex (example) to Philo, Sheridan and Tri Valley in the standings when they have so few common opponents.

Crossover games count in sports where all teams from both divisions play each other (volleyball, basketball, softball, baseball).

Crossover games do not count in football.

Big school division
Philo 1-0 (2-0)
Sheridan 1-0 (2-0)
Tri-Valley 1-0 (2-0)
Maysville 0-1 (1-1)
River View 0-1 (1-1)
John Glenn 0-1 (0-2)

Small school division
Meadowbrook 1-0 (2-0)
Coshocton 1-0 (1-1)
New Lexington 1-0 (1-1)
Crooksville 0-1 (0-2)
Morgan 0-1 (0-2)
West Muskingum 0-1 (0-2)
