At least they took a knee though. They were able to at least get a protest in before they got slaughtered by 40+ (and could have been much more than that)

Has to be the worst state finals since Shadyside

I enjoyed watching the Desales/Chardon game. This was a good example of how important a good kicker can be in HS football. The kickers were a combined 1/6 on FG attempts.

Those would be my picks also, in that order top to bottom.
1. DeSales buttoned it up in 2nd half and Coaches played not to lose .
2. Lake was essentially a one man show on offense (qb Malchesky) & he couldn't do it all by himself.
3. Springfield's Brungard much the same in their game.

Best game was watching Ironton get smashed. I guess they need to recruit more players. Ones that can score some points. Carrico had what? 28 yards? Hell I can fall forward and get more than that

Recruiting?? Oh man that is the pot calling the kettle black!!! You can not be a grown man. No recruiting needed when you are winners! Everyone wants to be a part of it!! Great kids, great coaches, great program, great college recruitment contacts = winners! I know someone that can get you some open enrollment applications. Just let me know if interested! Remember Ironton boys were still playing football win or lose while you were sitting in your recliner watching them on TV.
