NO competitive balance was factored or used this year. Reading this website is like reading Newsmax or OANN, lots of opinion very little actual fact.

I find the StateLine website to be a good aggregator and filter for news coming out of the OHSAA and other outlets regarding the oversight and operation of Ohio high school sports. Bias is in the eyes of the beholder.
As to the application of competitive balance rules to the 2020 football season I do believe they were in effect. D7 enrollment size Harvest Prep was assigned up to D5 as evidenced by their playoff appearance against Ironton. My feeble understanding is that the competitive balance adjustment to classifications would not apply to the 2021 spring sports season.

Competitive balance was 100% in effect... was wondering if anyone would bother clearing that up lol
