Schools lose a week (or two if you win) worth of revenue in this scenario so I doubt school administrators would go for it.petesweaty wrote: Thu May 21, 2020 12:50 am I have said this for years.
Play an 8 game regular season.
Let everybody in the playoffs.
Week 9 starts the playoffs.
Losers of Week 9 playoff game, plays a 10th game against another loser.

Re: OHSAA Playoffs Expanding in 2021
The playoff expansion has required the start of the regular been moved up a week to August 20th. I am one hoping the schools realize kick off needs to return to the 8:00 PM especially when the 2021 season will have two games played in August. Has anyone heard this considered by their league?

I would prefer that the KO stays at 7pm, like to get home at a decent time.

I can't see any school or league wanting to kick games off at 8pm.Fan of the youth wrote: Thu Apr 29, 2021 9:31 pm The playoff expansion has required the start of the regular been moved up a week to August 20th.
