Michigan needed to be accountable and they were. They didn't go around blaming everyone else for their wrong doings like all of you who feel the need to drag other people into this to make yourselves feel better about your scuzzy program.

Marlin Jackson threw a beer bottle at a person after he called him the N word several times, so I guess yes that makes him an awful person.

And yes Coach Mo was arrested for DUI over 15 years ago and forced to resign, how that equals what OSU is going through I have no idea.

DUbs,
Yes Denard donated a signed game jersey to an auction for a current team members memorial golf outing in which both parents died. Denard got nothing from the auction, and Michigan had to report it as a secondary rules violation, in which the NCAA responded with it wasn't a violation. So no your ignorant OSU source who just like the rest of the fans on here tried dragging someone else into your mess was wrong.

Your program is scuzz and I am glad it was finally exposed, too bad it didn't happen on the release date of Tressel's book about morals.
Blah blah blah blah......

Isnt there a Michigan thread on here? Go back and chat with yourself again on that thread. The only thing scuzzy is you and your constant b!itching about OSU. Nobody is blaming anyone but the OSU players and former coach for all of this mess. If we want to compare OSU to Miami then so be it. Its our right and if you dont like it, pull your big girl panties up and go about your own business.

That wasn't the autograph issue I was addressing.

And that same source is what had me posting BEFORE last season that TP was going to get us in trouble, it's that same source that had me giving info on this forum before it was reported by the media, it's that same source that allowed me to tell people on here that TP was not going to be a Buckeye anymore nearly a month before he withdrew in June, same source that confirmed that the Dohrman article was a single unreliable source witch hunt that would amount to nothing, same source that let me know that Dorian Bell was the mystery 6th player about a week before it was reported.

That source hasn't been wrong thoughout this entire issue, and your little golf outing isn't what his report is from. If the stones kept getting turned, UM would have had at minimum 3 players in the same crap wagon as our 5!

I posted at 5:06 on another thread about Jordan Hall being ineligible for Akron game, let the clock start on how much time passes between when I let you know and when ESPN reports it on their CFB page.

Yes I'm scuzzy becausei bring up points u don't want to address or u choose to ignore because everyone else needs to get w the times. People who can't debate are people who bring no points to the table and then say well you r just wrong or a cry baby, all the while ignoring the issue. This is a miami thread not an osu thread so take your own advice.

And I hope they don't have to hear about them.

I hate Michigan, but don't want to see them dragged through a similar issue.

I have to ask, who are these posters that you keep saying are blaming others for OSUs problems.

Everyone here has owned the issues, but it is natural to compare them to another high profile teams!

Oh, USCs defensive backs coach quit today, he blamed personal issues. In reality he has been named by Willy Lyles, the guy who is the center of the Oregon story! How long till the world wide leader mentions what the "personal issues" really are!

This issue with the 3 buckeyes for Akron, is no worse than Jocory Harris's with Miami.
It's in a larger spotlight because of the circumstances.
But, "exposed" is an overstatement, perfectly used by a hater that works for a UM message board! Lol

I'm glad to be a Buckeye fan and have a team to watch that is always in the hunt. It must be sad to be like peake and not have a very good team to root for and have to make up things "I had friends from law school from all over the country who have visited OSU". now thats funny, who are you Perry Mason? lol Perry I'm surprised someone as important as you would have time to be on SEOP especially with you living in NC and your team in Michigan.

Yes you certainly are just that. And where did you see OSU fans on here not addressing or better yet "IGNORING" the issues of the tattoo scandal? Because I am not seeing it. All I see is your bellyaching about OSU this, OSU that. Most OSU fans realize what happened, are pissed that we lost a good coach and several good players to STUPIDITY. What happened is in the past and OSU fans are ready to move forward with the eligible players we have. If you dont like it, the OSU fans on here could honestly care less Peake. You always have your handful of buddies over on the UM thread. You guys can talk about another great year of recruiting, who is tying who's shoes at UM and whatever else you talk about over there. Knock yourself out.

Look, Buckeye players got caught breaking the rules and punishment was meted out. Tressel lied (the cover-up is always worse than the crime) and paid for it with his job. You may or may not believe that Gee and Smith were exactly forthcoming or prudent in their actions but they pleaded their case, it seems there were no "failure to monitor" issues and the university has proposed sanctions that may or may not be the final word. Whatever happens happens. But let me frame my point of view in another light. The NCAA is the law and when the law is broken, there are consequences. In 1920, Congress passed and the states ratified an amendment to the constitution known as Prohibition. Basically, the manufacture, sale and consumption of liquor was outlawed. Still, many otherwise law-abiding citizens continued to consume liquor. If they were caught doing so, they paid whatever the penalty was. It also led to an explosion of illegal liquor manufacturing and the subsequent crime syndicates involved that inevitably sprang up to meet the demand. It proved to be a stupid and unenforceable law and led to unintended consequences. It was eventually repealed by popular demand and much of the crime associated with it subsided. The strict archaic rules of the NCAA are much like the Prohibition. Now I'm not for paying players but in a free enterprise country like ours, if a kid wants to peddle something THAT IS GIVEN TO HIM or trade HIS signature for some benefits, I can't see too much harm in that. IT IS against NCAA rules and the OSU players broke the rules. Got it. Tressel lied; he's gone. But worse things have been done and I just can't feel "scuzzy" over this. So...I'll tune in Saturday to root for the Buckeyes and the players who WILL take the field without the least bit of concern for my eternal soul. Sorry if that offends your morals; it does not mine.

"at least we're not as bad as them" is a very accurate statement, that doesn't take ownership of what the Buckeyes have went through away at all.

I guess this was my original post on here that set him off. I take nothing back. This was not to give absolution to OSU. They broke the rules and paid the penalty. Miami broke the rules and paid the penalty. That was not my intent to brush that off. Instead, it was my thumb in the eye to the NCAA. This "fine" institution continues a holier than thou existence but only up to when it starts costing THEM money. If they want me to respect them, they should have barred the five players they knew at the time from playing in the Sugar Bowl instead of this lame 5 game suspension this year. But that might have offended the sponsors who wanted to make sure the game was compelling. The NCAA is stained by big money. My biggest problem is they wont admit it and deal with it. So I might as well watch the game this Saturday and pull for the Buckeyes. If the NCAA pulls the Buckeyes from TV and the bowls, I'll just watch something else those days. I don't want to know how the sausage is made, I just want it served up with mustard and onions!
