I am covering this one for PAFOOTBALLNEWS and as usual, I will have pics and a full game report.
This one will be a little extra cool for me because it allows me to see Blanchester for the first time.
Blanchester went 6-2 last season losing to 7-3 Bethel Tate and to 6-3 Shawnee.
Blanchester is Division V, Region 20 .
The Bearcats 6-3 last season. They ended the season getting blown out in their final two games 55-7 Mechanicsburg and 42-12 Brookville both road games. The Bearcats will need a gigantic improvement from those two showings to come away with a win.
Thoughts?

Those losses at the end of last season were 2 pretty solid teams, Blanchester is a decent team but does not compare to Brookville and certainly not Burg.PV looked a little shaky yesterday vs. Hillsboro but nothing that can't be cleaned up. I expect a close game Thursday.

Mechanicsburg and Brookville were both solid. I have enjoyed going to their places over the years.

Domination by the Bearcats.
Hopefully, the two players who were injured get well soon.

Thanks LCF, I haven't received word yet on the 2 injured players. They are both very important pieces of the puzzle, both start both ways so a small D6 team like us with little depth could hurt a lot. Especially with a major test next week at West Jeff.LICKING COUNTY FAN wrote: Fri Aug 20, 2021 12:08 am Domination by the Bearcats.

I am in Kentucky so I have not had any free time until now, so I have not learned anything about those two either.
