I wonder?
Just a question St Xavier is ranked #1 in the state I'm not trying to beat this to death. Has anyone seen them play? Would they be able to compete with IMG academy? From what I'm hearing IMG recruits from all across the country do we have an ohio team that does the same? Asking for a friend lol

Re: I wonder?
Yes he does! I don’t know how that IMG stuff works...If I remember correctly California’s governing body for high school sports passed some sort of rule making a CA team ineligible for the state playoffs if they play a team that isn’t eligible for their own state playoffs

Re: I wonder?
Wow the cost to go there is $85,000 a year and that's without paying for sports. I think the price to play football was $6,000 more. And they don't offer scholarships. I would much rather send my child to an actual high school and then to a great college like Ohio State where they have scholarships. To spend that kind of money is crazy to me.

Many of these kids get a ton of financial aid and the donors foot most of the bill.Bdog_198807 wrote: Mon Sep 06, 2021 9:35 pm Wow the cost to go there is $85,000 a year and that's without paying for sports. The transfers coming in from all over the country are not paying 85k a year. In fact, a local player from Sciotoville East actually went there a few years ago. He was not charged anything.

40% of ALL attendees? As in entire student population? Or 40% of ALL athletes? 40% of the football team?MaxxedOut_87 wrote: Tue Sep 07, 2021 5:39 pmOnly about 40% of attendees get financial aid.bbjunky81 wrote: Tue Sep 07, 2021 9:35 amMany of these kids get a ton of financial aid and the donors foot most of the bill.Bdog_198807 wrote: Mon Sep 06, 2021 9:35 pm Wow the cost to go there is $85,000 a year and that's without paying for sports. I could understand if 40% of the athletes total get some type of financial assistance considering they have multiple other sports teams.... but I just can't see any way possible that only 40% of players on the basketball/football team receive some type of financial assistance.. They're bringing those kids in from all over America and even other parts of the globe.
