23 Bellaire 3-0 -16.4
24 Taft (Cincinnati) 1-2 11.1
25 Genoa Area (Genoa) 1-2 8.3
Ironton stays at #2 where they started the season
Kirtland holds down the #1 spot.
Despite a couple wins, Wheelersburg has dropped from 9th to #15th. Ridgewood holding steady in same vicinity of how they started. Portsmouth clocks in only a few spots behind Wheelersburg. It is early, but a 3 - 0 Portsmouth is very intriguing. Their schedule shapes up nicely for them. If they play a good game vs Fairland, the Trojans could very well show up for Ironton undefeated. That Jackson game is gonna be a big game for Wheelersburg and if they win they could cover some ground in the ranking. Roger Bacon and Harvest Prep are familiar faces right back in the thick of things. It's a shame Portsmouth & Wheelersburg do not play.

Re: Division V top 25
I believe region 19 will go to ridgewood. Unless ironton gets the offense rolling and kids healthy I don’t see them winning the region. Tingle and company have been 2nd place for 2 years and I think this is there best shot.

I dunno...could be Harvest Prep’s year...I don’t know the story of the game (injuries, penalties, turnovers, etc.) but only losing by a TD to Hartley at Hartley is kinda impressive. Maybe Hartley isn’t really good this year, anyone know?

Harvest Prep the R19 favorite to me. Probably had Ironton beat if RB doesn’t get hurt. Doubt they got worse.

Unfortunately separated shoulders can
Continue to happen to the player once they happen. They remind me of ankles.

That’s not what happened last year. Last year his Clavical dislocated posteriorly from his SC joint which didn’t allowing him to play in the ironton game. Crazy injury rarely ever happens it’s extremely dangerous I guess cause it’s behind the sternum at that point around lungs and big arteries.

Hopefully he is able to return later in the regular season or for the playoffs. Truthfully I don’t think the Wood will need him until 3 or 4 weeks into the playoffs. Appear to be a very all around dominate team, but obviously with him on the field anywhere close to 100 percent they are an instant state title contender.Raycharles wrote: Tue Sep 07, 2021 11:20 pmThat’s not what happened last year.
