Well as long as you're on the home side you'll be good, but if you get a chance take a walk over to the visitors section and you'll see why so many complaints if you're attending as a visiting fan. You'll get a chance to see their new field as well, plus I believe next year is sort of the year a lot of West fans have been looking towards as their return to the top with the players they had coming up through the system.

This will be my first time taking in a game at West.

Looking forward to you coming to a game. Probably won't be one of the bigger crowds on the schedule, but hopefully having a pretty good team on the new field will help. As earlier stated, I would stay on the home side. The stupid track puts a damper on it too, but much better than the away bleachers. I don't think the crowds are as big and loud as what it use to be, but I have noticed that at other venues as well in the recent years. The scenery is very nice. With the banks of the Ohio River in view, miles of soybeans, the hills of Kentucky and Southern Ohio hills in the backdrop make for a beautiful sunset at kickoff.

I will go on the field to get early pics and then a friend will have a seat saved near the 50 yard line as high up as we can get.

Interesting, I believe that's the same year Nothwest moves back up to SOCII. I can't imagine SOC1 schools wanting them back down, I've always advocated for Oak Hill to try and get into the TVC. Something like that though you'd think more people might have put something out there.

greygoose: a poster in Oak Hill thread said Oak Hill not going anywhere and conference schedule being rearranged with Northwest coming back. So with Northwest back, you now have 7 teams in SOC II, which then leaves each team with an open date during conference play to find a nonconference game. It definitely going to make scheduling even tougher in future for these schools.*

Waverly continues to upgrade their schedule. However, the JC Golden Eagles may be a bit much for the Tigers in what may be a rebuilding year for Waverly. Tiger fans who travel down Rt. 23 to Paintsville will be in for a treat in terms of atmosphere at one of the premier school programs in Kentucky.
