I watched the replay of this one tonight. Ohio Wesleyan (0-2) led 7-0 early but was outscored 45-14 the rest of the way. Back-up quarterback Ryan Saxe came on after the starter Jay Lemenager left after the first drive to lead Illinois Wesleyan to the win. He connected on 13-18 passes good for a touchdown and 162 yards. He also had ten rushes good for 55 yards and a score. Seth Albin and Zach Bozarth each had a rushing touchdown for the winners. Myles Kee had the lone receiving touchdown for the winners. Andrew Stange kicked a 42 yd field goal also for the winners. The winners two other scores came from Ant Wachal Jr. on a 96 yd blocked field goal return and a pick-six by Artist Benjamin.

For O.W. Josh Hurst (Port Clinton) had a receiving touchdown. The Bishops used three quarterbacks Artist Benjamin (Nile McKinley) 10-17 1 TD and 2 Ints. Kaden Buza (Milbrook, Va) 8-14 TD'S. Austin Womack (Hurricane, WV) 2-7. Hurst rushed for two touchdowns and Tyler Webb (Port Clinton) rushed for one score. Hurst was the leading rusher with 113 yards. Drew Thornton (Olentangy Liberty) led the defense with 10 total tackles.
